I am curious if it is possible to have a drop down of past job runs in DashHub. I have a use case where we are interested in creating a fingerprint to determine the best process setpoints and would like to see all past jobs. Users could choose the job name from a selected list to see the results.

Is something like this possible or is there another way users are able to look at different results by job run?

Hello,

There is potentially a better way to accomplish this using searches for best set points and contextualize those. The context items can then be used to review all of the best set points and keep track of those. An overview of those set points can then also be used a dashboards.

Your CSM will reach out to you to investigate the use case and propose a solution.

Regards,

Usman

Hi,

After further exploration, a better way and workflow is explained below. This workflow can be applied in general for reporting or capturing insights and setting up dashboards.

  1. Define & identify best process set points using searches
  2. Validate the search results and iterate if needed
  3. Contextualize the search results and set up a monitor with ‘Create context item’ as an action
  4. In ContextHub, a view can be set up with the results either as a table or a Gantt chart view
    1. To learn the basics of ContextHub, have a look at our user guide for a ContextHub - Basic Course
  5. Monitors & views can then be set up in a dashboard for a quick overview of the different job campaigns and quickly navigate to the desired campaigns for deeper investigations
