Hi,
I’d like to load the same tag multiple times in the same view. I then want to give each of these duplicates a separate time shift so I can visually compare different periods. Is this possible?
Thanks.

Hi
This can be accomplished by adding a layer. In the layers menu, you can manually add one (or more).
By clicking on the layer, you can shift it around to your needs.
Does this resolve your use case?

Hi Fréderick,
I didn’t know about the layering. I tried it. What I do encounter: I’d like to shift multiple layers up to 6 years in the past (a lot of clicking because I can’t enter the shift amount manually in layers).
Also, I can only change the style of the line, not the color, which makes it difficult to distinguish one year from another (I am looking at campaign data).
Lastly, I can’t stack the graphs using the layer approach. The layers are always over each other.
It seems it should be easy just to add the same tag again to a view. What are your thoughts?
Thanks.
Christian
By the way, I now resorted to creating multiple views (one for each year), and combining the views in a dashboard.
Hello,
It’s not possible to add the same tag multiple times to the same view. However, you can create a duplicate, and shift it by 365d, 730d etc.
Kind regards,
Fréderick
Hi,
Ok, thanks. That would work normally, but I’m already 2 layers into calculations, so TrendMiner won’t allow me to create a duplicate, because I reach the limit of layers of calculation. I could put all my calculations into one formula.
Best regards,
Christian
Hi Christian,
You’ll be happy to hear then that our plan is to alleviate that constraint (2 layers of calcs) later this year / early next. That should then resolve your use case.
Kind regards,
Fréderick
