The email frequency in monitoring is determined by the search criteria on which the monitor is based. In other words: whenever the defined search conditions are met, the monitor will trigger – and if email notifications are enabled, an email will be sent.

As additional background:
With an index resolution of 1 minute, the minimum duration of a search is 2 minutes. This sets the shortest possible interval for monitors to evaluate and trigger events.
