Hi,

sometimes a tag has a “bad” value.

Is there an option similar to the iferror function in Excel, so that i can specify a fixed value if the tag is bad?

Cheers,

Marvin

Hi Marvin - in your case the datasource is configured to omit “bad” values. For some providers, it is possible to pull bad quality data; however, once the data is indexed in TrendMiner, there is no distinction between good vs bad quality data. A different representation of “bad” data would be a product feature request. I suggest adding this as a Feature Idea in the Community.

Thank you,

Kevin

Hi Marvin - thanks for posting your question.

In TrendMiner, we have an IF function similar to Excel - you can find it in Tag Builder → Formula.

Please let me know if you have any further questions!

Hi Marvin - the entry for X would be the bad value you are trying to replace. Did you have a specific value in mind for your tag? How does the tag show up in TrendMiner when the value is bad?

Hi Kevin,

the tag in trendminer shows no values. In PI Vision its shown as “bad”. My Problem is that any formula including the tag will be empty aswell. So i would like the tag to show 0 instead.
