Functionality requests can be submitted at https://community.trendminer.com/ideas Requests are reviewed regularly by the product team. Several features in this release originated from Community submissions.

Here is the summary of the webinar:

  • Collapsed Plotting When a filter is active, users can now collapse filtered-out time periods. The remaining data is stitched together and scaled to fill the full chart area. Gap indicators mark where data is non-continuous. This view also applies to Dash Hub tiles.
  • Context Field Configuration Administrators can now configure individual context fields per type with the following options: mark a field as required, set a field to read-only, define field display order, set decimal precision for numeric fields, and add a description to a context type.
  • Index Horizon Management Administrators can now adjust the index data horizon directly in Config Hub. Shortening the horizon frees up disk space. An impact report is available before confirming any change. The default horizon for new installations is 3 years.
  • Plant Integration V5 Plant Integration V5 is now production-ready. Key changes: runs as a standalone service (no IIS dependency), single installer, centralized configuration, HTTPS/TLS support, and up to 10x faster data retrieval from on-premise historians. V4 and V5 can run in parallel on the same server using different ports. V4 deprecation begins later in 2026.
  • SMTP Modernization The email configuration interface has been updated. Supported options include: TLS/SSL encryption, username/password authentication, and a built-in connection test. Compatible with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Amazon SES. Existing configurations are migrated automatically on upgrade.
