I could not find a list of the tags in the demo datasource in the documentation, nor a description of what data is in these tags over what time period. Is that available in some way? And these tags are available to all users, right? Reason to ask is to build localized training materials that are not dependent on user's permissions to ‘real’ tags

Hey TrendMiner Team,we are looking for a way to check the usage of our dashboards. We would like to know which are the most frequently used dashboards and how many different users are using the dashboards daily, weekly or monthly. We are not looking for the usage of individual individual users but rather for an usage overview so that we can check adoption of the dashboards and see whether we need to push some dashboards more to our users. I am wondering which options we have to analyse the usage. Ideally, we would be able to do this ourselves within the software (ConfigHub). Best wishesSören 

I have a system with 2 fingerprint monitors active. The fingerprints are copies of each other, and one monitor checks for matches while the other checks for deviations. They have the same detection threshold. Frequently, the “match” fingerprint gives 2 match alerts (I have the monitors generate context items) a ~2 minutes apart for the same event. The length of the fingerprint is ~30 minutes and there are 3 tags involved. Other times, the “match” fingerprint and the “deviation” fingerprint will both detect and give conflicting context items. How far apart do the detection thresholds need to be to avoid this (ie can it be 84 and 85% or does it need to be more like 80 & 85%)

I am interested to know which product is being produced in chemical reactor in series… I know the current product at the exit of production, but not which product is being run in each reactor. I know the residence time in the different reactors. Is there any possibility to create a formula indicating which product is being produced in each reactor by applying a variable time shift which depends on the residence time? 

Hello, is it possible to share a monitoring dashboard with another user so they can access and modify it as well ?

I have  a connection to a PI system that includes, amongst other things, lab data (originating from LIMS) and PI-AF calculations. I have a PI-AF calculation that is making use of a lab tag. This week, an invalid entry was made in LIMS for the lab tag and the value was subsequently substituted/updated in PI. I recalculated/backfilled the associated PI-AF calculation and trends of both the lab and PI-AF calculation is correct/accurate in PI. The configuration of the lab tag was also  modified to force the step attribute to 1, so that values appear in a staircase format in PI.I would like these changes to be reflected in Trendminer, so I tried refreshing the index for both the lab tag and the calculation and that did not appear to do the job. Incorrect values that had been recalculated in PI are still showing in Trendminer. And the lab tag still is not represented in staircase format.What am I missing?

Hello there, I am wondering if it is possible to write a formula or a way to find out, how to combine a Tag which gives out binary values (1 and 0) and the number of hours it is in operation provided in the formula a fixed starting date and current date and time? we would like to create a dashboard using pump ON/Off Tag to calculate the operating hours i.e., how long is pump in operation. Thank you so much for your inputs. Best REgards,Sajan

Is it possible to access the expoert of tags in Excel directly via Excel? Instead of going into the Trendminer and exporting a tag view, would it be possible to load the data of different tags directly into Excel via API connection and a PowerQuery in Excel?

I perfomed several calculations and agregations in short time. Now no calculated tags is shown any more / being calculated. Processing idicator constantly running. What can I do or who can help from our internal TrendMiner team. I am only data admin. By the way, since when is the help chat not working any more?

If I am logged into ConfigHub as an admin, I can view the individual user folders and the documents stored there. Can the tags be transferred from one user to another? Because if users leave the company and the created tags are still needed, this leads to problems.I would therefore assign these tags to an active user. Best regards 

I really miss the possibility to export data with a high resolution. Will this be possible in the future?

Is there an option to change the font, font size, color, text style, etc. when exporting graphs? Specifically, when exporting graphs to use in reports, the font size is very small, making it difficult to read the axis values and labels. Using the browser zoom option does increase the font size, but it also increases the size of everything else, so it doesn’t solve the issue.

On Confighub you can view Metrics of a datasource. But: What do these actually mean? What are reasonable values? What is the difference between the two columns? Over what time are these captured? (are these reset at some time?) Example: 

With the aggregation tool I set up a minimum for 24 hours of a given data set. Is it possible to set this minimum value for a certain time range. And I get peaks between my 24 hour minimum values. I don't understand where they come from and would like to remove them from my graph because these are not minimum values. 

Is there a way to assign multiple tags to a single context item? For instance tracking multiple temperature trends after a planned maintenance activity. If not, is it possible to link the visualization to a saved trend or dashboard rather than to just the specific tag that the context item is applied to?

Hello, this is my first post.  We have just started using TrendMiner and have set up multiple plants.  I have been asked how many tags there are per plant.  I can get that number from the historians, but would like to know if there is a way to do that in TrendMiner.  I can’t seem to figure it out and was hoping that someone could help me.  Thank you.  

I am trying to export data based on second intervals, however I get a message saying “the data point interval should be the indexing resolution (60s) or higher? Anyone know what this means, or how I could export data points on a smaller interval? Thanks in advance.

I’m working on a tag that would take a raw material feed tag and totalize it each day, resetting to 0 at midnight. I’ve tried a couple different ways and can’t get it to work. This tag is in lb/hr currently.

I want to trend a highly fluctuating tag over a period of 2 - 3 years to find a possible Trend below. Aggregation over 24 h ) is not sufficient. How can I do do stronger  aggregated trending?
